We are a community-based soccer program dedicated to player development, with a player-centric approach that prioritizes growth over winning. Our goal is to help your child reach their full potential as a player, ensuring they develop the skills, confidence, and independence needed to succeed. When they transition to high school and no longer play alongside their club teammates, we want them to seamlessly integrate with their new team, equipped with the abilities and self-assurance instilled through their experience with Aces. Our focus is on preparing them to stand out as skilled, confident players, ready to thrive in any team environment.
Ages
What aged players are appropriate for this program?
Eligible players must be at least 6 years old and have completed a minimum of one year of house/recreational soccer or participated in Junior Aces.
When
What time of the year does this program run?
The season kicks off with tryouts in April. Following that, official activities will commence on August 18, 2025, and conclude on June 14, 2026.
Where
Where are practices and games typically held?
Practices are held at Sunset Meadows Park. Home games take place at various parks in Arlington Heights, while away games may be located throughout the northwest suburbs.

When are practices and how often are they?
Teams practice twice a week during the fall and spring seasons, and once a week during the winter season. The fall season runs from August 18th to November 9th, the winter season from January 19th to March 15th, and the spring season from March 30th to June 14th.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Teams will play 20-25 games over the course of the season and will usually fall on the weekends.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?
Club uniforms are mandatory and must be purchased through Capelli Sport once you have been accepted onto the team.
Extra Costs
What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?
Additional costs may arise if your team decides to participate in extra tournaments, indoor leagues, or optional outings such as trips to Chicago Fire or Chicago Stars games.

Aces U7 – U10 (birth years 2017-2014)
The Aces U7 through U10 age groups use an Academy model, which provides high-level, structured training to players who demonstrate a passion for the game and a commitment to further developing skills through concentrated training. The Academy program emphasizes individual, skills-based training and small-sided games, designed to provide an inspiring, fun environment that fosters confidence, creativity, and composure.
Through small-sided games, all the players have the opportunity to play together regularly. Team rosters are more fluid than traditional models, and some roster movement may occur between the fall and spring seasons and for tournaments.
Aces U11 – U15 (birth years 2013-2009)
The Aces Youth Development Program (U11 through U14) emphasizes age-appropriate technical skills and tactical decision-making to ensure that players learn new and improve existing skills at every age level.
Aces High School U15 – U19 (birth years 2008-2005)
Our Aces High School Program is the pinnacle of our player development pyramid. At these age groups, we aim to provide our players with a higher level of competitive opportunities. After developing our players’ technical and tactical skills throughout the U7-U14 age groups, our goal at the High School age groups is to further develop our team concept of playing and competing. Players at this age group will have the opportunity to play in leagues and tournaments that will challenge them at a very good level.
